The Triglav National Park intends to further support schools that obtain the Quality Mark. Schools holding the Quality Mark will be given priority in environmental education activities (e.g. priority in calls for tenders for science days, etc.).
The Quality Mark will be a condition for participation in calls for "funding", which will be used to support or co-finance environmental projects, educational activities that are in line with the objectives of the National Park.
The certification system of the Triglav National Park Quality Mark (hereinafter referred to as the "TPLP") is open to educational institutions that are members of the Community of Schools of the Julian Alps Biosphere Region and that meet the conditions set out below.
If an institution or school combines several units (parent and branch), each school is treated as its own autonomous unit.
The TNPQM Certificate is awarded to educational institutions for a period of two years. Existing TNPQM holders shall submit proof - a completed TNPQM eligibility assessment form for the current school year by the end of May, in the same way as other schools that are yet to join the Quality Mark following the call for applications. Otherwise, schools that already have the Quality Mark will be subject to the procedure for withdrawal of the TNPQM.
2022 is a "preparation" and implementation year for schools. In this year, schools awarded the TNPQM enjoy all the additional benefits of the Quality Mark. While other schools may already be preparing for the next call for applications.
